new manifold...

Been working on this the last couple of evenings... it is all 304 stainless, with nice thick .120 wall tubing. Runners are 22, 22.5, 23 inches with the shortest being the middle with the most bends and the longest being the rear that is almost straight. FYI since I know someone will say something I wouldn't have put the wastegate perpendicular like that but whoever i got the collector from had already welded the tube on so I'm gonna try it- I have a 60mm gate so it might be OK...

This is not quite the finished item... I didnt make it to the fab shop after work today to get the tube I will use to brace it off the front iron. I'll post a couple more pics tomorrow when that is done.

Total cost on this was about $400 - $100 for the flange, 100 for the burns collector on ebay, and $200 for the tubing, bends, and 308L TIG rods from mcmaster. Took me maybe 6-8 hours of actually working on it...maybe that much again of head scratching trying to get the runners equal length.

Let me know what you guys think...

Looks pretty good. The transition between the 2nd and 3rd sections in the middle runner looks a bit tight though...my .02

its a 4202, and no the hood will not close as-is, I did it that way because ive been wanting to get away from sucking hot engine bay air into the intake- I will make an insulated box that fits a hood scoop so it gets nice cool air.

Viking War Hammer: no dude-im gonna put another 20b over there hanging off the side of the car! I forgot to turn the CH before i put the turbo in, now i gotta pull the vband to rotate it down where it goes...

That is NICE. Better than the HKS I bought some time ago. Can you make me one?
