Need advice on oil mod to e-shaft

I bought the jets to increase the oil flow in the e-shaft from MazdaTrix but looks like those are for race engines as it says the oil pressure is low at idle. I also am increasing the oil pressure with a new regulator. The guy at Mazdatrix said that with high oil pressure the jets will be ok. Any experience here? Thanks for the help.

Carlos Lopez recommended me to enlarge the hole in the oil jet and install a stiffer spring or interweave 2 stock springs together. This will increase flow but only when at higher pressure.
Call Carlos at CLR racing in Miami, he can explain it. I didn't do it in my current build, I will do it when I tear it down for inspection.

what size jets did you buy? depending on size, you can still keep decent (safe) pressure at a reasonable idle while increasing flow upstairs.

I don't have the jets in my possession now. I'll have to check on the size.

Changing or modifying the jets in the e-shaft will only help add oil volume to cool the rotors. It will do nothing in terms of giving extra oil to the bearings. In fact, in the case of the 20b, the oil pump is much undersized. Adding the larger jets will only make the pump run out of breath sooner at high rpm. Adding a higher pressure regulator will help to a degree, but wont do much at high rpm where the pump cant pull much more than 95psi even with the reg. completely shut. I would focus most on porting the inlet of the oil pump in the front cast iron. And also custom making a larger inlet suction tube. This will help the pump receive the most amount of oil. After that, carefully choose a low pressure drop oil filter, and make sure oil cooler lines are not larger than needed.

you just gave me an idea for when i resume my engine build. i'm not going to mess with trying to venturi the stock pickup tube any more. i'll simply try to make a bigger one. thanks.
