RZ: I had sent you a PM a few days ago inquiring about the status of the kit you are working on. Would you be able to give any updates or even an estimate on when something will be available? Ive decided to go with the magnum on my 20B as long as some conversion kit is available soon. If it is, have cash in hand ready for purchase.

No updates yet, I in the process of moving to a new house I am building so the car has been in storage for a couple of months so as soon as its done I will get back in it. Shouldn't be much longer then

Subbing. I've been wanting to do a T56 swap, and the Magnum would handle more than I ever plan to make. The 20B swap looks awesome, RZ! Good luck with the move.

Would it suit a manual 13B-REW?

 

for right now is only going to work for a auto back plate because the starter need to be mounted forward.

I had twins so for the last couple of months i been on daddy duty. But im defenetly exited to finish the project. I recently talk to my fabricators and will start working on the little parts that are missing to have it all done. I was also looking into the new tremec offering for the new vette of 7 speed trans. But tremec might offer it probably 1-2 yrs down the road before they offer it to public.


i will keep you posted here thanks for support. Also thinking of making some new changes to upgrade to Motec and upgrade fuel injection to go for 1000hp plus still in the thinking stages!

The transmission I source is different in several ways. and off the shelve t56 magnum wont fit i learned that the hard way shifter too far forward and other things make them too costly to make them fit. I have the transmission custom made brand new in the box, because it has to have some specific specs to fit perfect as it was factory. if your interested feel free to PM me and i would be more than happy in helping you source one for your application. additionally, the transmission i get its and upgrade from the t56 magnum because the magnum can only handle 700 torque and the TranzillaRZ handles 850+ torque plus its completely custom so you can order any gears you would want from first gear to 6 gear to fit your application its the best out there.
