its kind of in place

well i placed the 20b in the ae today, it looks
like it is going to fit without any problem with
both the stock turbo's and the stock auto trani
i had to cut off the locations where the old rx7 trani
bolts up to,,, there was no room for that big auto
with those in the way.
here's a pic of it sitting in there,,,
sure am thinking about the k2rd mounts ,,,
would make it so much easier,,,
but i am unsure if their mount adapters will fit on with the
cosmo starter in place,,, anyone know?

matt

I can tell you right not, it doesn't work.&nbsp The stock started on the Cosmo engines are flipped backwards from the 5-speed manual starters on the FC and FD.

reted,, if i am not mistaken the k2rd mount on the drivers side bolts up to the very same studs that held the 20b mount to the block...

Looks like an NPT IC. All it needs is some neon tubes and LED's. Thx for the pic, though.

Yeah, isn't that one of those new low-restriction finless models? I bet you could polish it up, and sell a bundle of them over the internet if you hyped up the low pressure drop characteristics.

Yes, the mounts bolt up to all existing Cosmo engine points.&nbsp 3 points on the driver's side; three points on the passenger side.

This still won't clear the stock starter off the Cosmo, cause the starter is physically reversed on the bell housing due to the automatic transmission.&nbsp Anyone who has messed with an automatic trans RX-7 knows what I'm talking about.
