Install OEM sized stud kit without opening?

Is it possible to install an OEM sized stud kit, such as the Turblown kit (16pc) without opening the motor?

I'm about to begin a bw s475 20b swap. Plan is to run 15-18psi on stock ports, whatever is enough to break 600hp. I'd like to outdo my 525hp 67mm 13b.

The block I have found is a 17k milage JDM 20b with ground off letters. Do not know the series, however the block makes 115psi compression.

I'd much rather stud the block myself for added security against cracking/twisting without having to rebuild the motor. Otherwise, I'd rather just run 10psi and/or go all out and rebuild the motor. But for now, I'd rather my focus be on getting the setup working before doing a rebuild on an otherwise perfect motor.

Yes it can be done. Just replace the studs 1 by 1 in the same order as you would torque the engine ****. Lubricate the threads and tighten to the correct specs. Enjoy to taste.

Thank you. That is excellent news.

Do you believe 600rwhp is a practical/safe goal for an unknown series motor with studs?

Say for example it turns out to be an A series with weaker casting. Well, if I have an oil pan brace and studs, and run a large turbo with a quality fmic and water injection, is the horsepower goal a high stress/risk?

For this rwhp level, should I absolutely need a c or d series?

I just can't believe how weak the forums make out these early model motors. Maybe you only hear about the failures and not the success. My simple 13b, w upgraded seals will easily do 600, seems like a 20b should do it with less stress regardless of the series.

It is under less stress, just make sure your fuel game is on point!

Tuning tuning tuning... Good man to talk to is carlos lopez at CLR. 600hp is not a issue with stock bolts and stock dowels.
