i found my boost controller.....

i seem to have half wittingly created some sort of monster. at .6kgcm2 it feels invincible on the street.
its amazing how hard it pulls. it is quieter than stock, smoother than stock. i will have pics soon, but my car has ended up looking like any other fc. its a monster.

i have an extra flange, so i might have a louder "cat" back made, right now it sounds like a vacuum cleaner

You need to up the boost and get an open exhaust... then hit the dyno. What did you end up doing with the turbos? Are they running non-sequential mode? Did you do the "poor-man's conversion" with rerouting vacuum lines and such, or did you modify the turbos and remove the flapper gate and other wastegate? I'm curious what the stock block makes with the stock twins. I have a rebuilt and heavily ported block with non-sequential modifications done to them (like I described above). Do you have a gtech?

i did the poor mans non sequential, other than that its stock, unopened 20b. i wanna know what it makes too, i'm going to try and make time to hit the dyno before sevenstock (its gotta make it there first), i might also have a louder "cat" back made for it. at 8.5psi it feels like the last really modded fd (340rwhp ish), ive driven. the stock brakes dont like full throttle either =), your car is goping to be insane, btw

mike> you are running about 8 to 8.5 psi boost,, that's
the same as what I am seeing, my boost does the up and
down thing as the 2nd turbo comes on, but I am
seeing between 7 and 9psi wot when the motor is at
180 to 195F ,,if it goes over the 195 mark into the
200's the boost seems to start to drop off, it will not
make more than 5 psi when the temps are reaching 210F.
now that I have removed the nose off the car it seems
to be running at 180 to 190 doesn't seem to matter how
hot the day gets...thus I am seeing a nice 8 to 9 psi
it will sure be fun to try 15 psi.
I will try the gtech as soon as I can find a place to weigh
the car
and yes it feels like about 300 to 330hp but really hard
to tell, the 3rd gen power came on harder and feels like
its pulling harder but the smoothness of the 3 rotor is
deceiving!

now, sit in the passenger seat, it feels much faster there. i agree in the driver seat it doesn't feel as as it is.
my turbos are wired open, so my boost is steady as a rock.
