I figured i should share how my project is going with the rest of the class

Well some of you may remember that I ran my car n/a last year and I did have my fun with it. I started tearing it apart in december and I slowly started picking away at it. I'm getting close to projects end now. Heres some pictures

Tearing it apart from every angle

Decided to chip out the sound deadening up front

Intercooler mock up and mount

Test fitting the new turbo off the car

I'll be running 4" to dual 3"

Getting most of the interior finalized

Coil pack setup

Starting to get into the wiring

Starting to look more like a car

Are you using the stock NA hood ? Did you have to cut it ? What kind of engine mounts did you use ? Did you have to make custom oil pan or new sub-frame or move the steering rack ?

Looks great. Similar to my car (color and wheels) except for the 20B. I only have the smaller version of the cosmo engine.

A little update

Getting the wastegate mocked up

Getting the downpipe tack welded

-10 to dual -8's. I know its a little extreme for my current goals, but it will give me a lot of room to grow.

New fittings waiting to be welded onto the fuel rail

are you gonna keep the gate open? or put it back into the exhaust? if you put it into the exhaust, i hate you. looks good so far though, the manifold is very sexy.

dude your project is like deja-vu to me.
same wastegate, same style exhaust, same radiator, same coil setup, same intercooler, same fuel rails, etc etc.

that said, looks pretty sweet man! when do you expect to have it up and running? specs on the turbo?
