Holy Blowby Batman!

Took it to the dyno again (cant complain with cheap pulls) I was able to put down 10 more horspeower this time for a total of 240 to the ground. This also gave me a good chance to play around with my exhaust cutout. Anybody else experience this much blowby on their stock blocks?

Hmmmm...not exactly what I call "blow-by".
It looks like oil smoke from tired oil control o-rings.
All rotary engines with tired oil control rings do this.

What kinda exhaust are you running?
The exhaust note sounds really "tinny" compared to our car.

Yeah, i know its not technicaly blowby but i only have issues with it on the dyno. I'm running the stock TII catback, it sounded much better before. It sounds "tinny" because of the exhaust dump I installed, i i think its rattling a bit and i have a small exhaust leak.

Your getting that much power through the stock factory mufflers or the dump pipe?

i get 230 HP through the mufflers, last time i ran it just straight open header i only picked up like 4 HP between the 2. the stock TII catback isnt that restrictive. I had a new Y-pipe made but its still the stock mufflers. Keeps it pretty quiet when i putt around too.

Wow shocking! I was under the impression most factory catbacks (especially really old ones) were restrictive.
