Front Sway Bar...20B into FC3S

hey everyone i am looking into doing this conversion ino my S4 rx7..

on FC3S.org they mentioned that the front sway bar could not be used.. is this true and what do I do???

how does the car handle with the extra weight of the 20B in the front???

I'm very interested to know.. moreso as a reference as the car is prodominantly setup for Street and strip work...

hope you guys can help me... as Here in Australia it isn't a very common conversion at all...

I recall reading someones post a while back that stated that after doing some weight reduction there car weighed very close to what it did with its stock motor in it.

You have to get a custom anti-sway bar made

And this isnt a very common conversion anywhere..

The stock bar won't clear the motor.

With a custom bar, Ground Control coilovers, Tokico Illuminas, and 17 x 10 wheels on the back, the car handles beautifully. No understeer, no oversteer--just go where you want to go as fast as you can.

My car is set up for street and road course (no drag racing).

I don't know about Australia. IIRC, Peter Farrell's brother, in New Zealand, has done at least one conversion.

you can use the stock antiswaybar if you:

A) Make custom mounting tabs for it and move it forward about 6 inches

B) Use a custom oil pan with a relocated oil pickup.

C) Go dry sump and remove the oil pan (replace it with a blockoff plate)
