Arrow EMS + Ignition

This question goes out to everyone who has a 20B swap. I already know what you can use/ whats required to get the engine running, but I would like what everyone is using. So, what are you using for EMS and ignition?

How much boost are you running and are you using the 20B engine harness or custom?

Haltech comes with an engine harness. Some other guys are running LS2 spark plug coils too.

Started with Wolf 3D EMS and LS1 coils > Changed mechanics, went to Halthech E11v2 and MSD Blaster SS coils and MSD ignition > Changed mechanics and now have Microtech LTX 12s with the MSD Blaster SS coils

Seems like I am trying to set a record for the number of EMS units on the car!

Motec M600, 2x Motec 4 Channel CDI's (1xLeading, 1xTrailing with split) and 6x Motec (Mercury) Coils. To date have has absolutely no issues with EMS or ignition system. Current tune 15psi, 500rwhp (Dyno Dynamics) on pump.

I originally had a Microtech LTX12 with 2x MSD DIS-4HO, 6x MSD Blaster DIS coils, but sold it all and went Motec before first fire.

Hope that helps.

This is the set-up I was planning on going with, but not completely set on it just yet... Is there anything about it you don't like or just feel like complaining about?

eflie - Your set-up sounds solid, but it's pretty expensive. Of course, you probably won't need to upgrade it when you get bite with the horsepower-freak bug again and start to crank up the boost. What turbo(s) are you running?

I am running a Borg Warner S480 1.32 A/R with the new race cover.

Engine is out at the moment getting ported, stud kit, balanced etc. I'll also be putting water injection on the new motor so i'll probably up the boost around 17-18psi.

Should make some good numbers then

Sorry that should have read increase the boost to 17-18psi.

Hehe, increasing it by 17-18psi would be fun for 30 secs or so!!
