e11 map?

Hi,
I bought my E11 from gothamracing. They promised that they'd provide start up map when I bought the computer. So I am ready to start the car now. I've called them many times, leaving messages and they have not contacted me. Anyway, I'm just looking for a start up map and I was wondering if you could hook me up. Thanks.

What do the details matter? You can just download somebody else's random map into your EMS and then you are good to go, right?

Not exactly. With the wrong igniton setup in the ecu you will fry the ignition coils/ignitor etc.

Oh, OK, it is good to know that it doesn't matter about other things like fuel pressure, ignition trigger type, TPS type and setting, water thermo sensor, MAP sensor, IAT sensor, wire resistance, engine porting and condition, etc.

Alright!

550 primaries, 1680 secondaries
MSD DIS-4, Crane PS-92 coils to the leading
stock FD ignitor, stock coils to the trailings
stock 20b TPS and air temp sensor
Haltech water temp sensor
2 walbro 225 pumps
GT42R turbo

I think that's about it......

I do not see 20b maps on that thread.

So do I need to use an E6X (with my mods) fuel and ignition maps and import it to my E11 while maintaining 20b configuration?

Take your car to a professional tuner. Even engines that are "the same" are not the same.

After reading a lot of internet forums I now realize that all I need to do is download some random map into my EMS and then tune it with a wideband AFR meter that the vendor says will totally and completely make up for my wholesale lack of education and skill. In a worst-case scenario I can ask questions on an internet forum so that other people who are just as lost as me can tell me what to do. Regardless, I know it is better to buy a wideband and blow up my engine a few times while trying to figure this out rather than pay a couple hundred bucks to one of those evil professional tuners who are bonded and insured in case anything bad happens to my car during tuning.

I will absolutely take it to a dyno for tuning....but I need a base map just to start the car.

The best way to reach Gotham is to email Alex at alex@gothamracing.com. Your setup is pretty close to mine and I use the Haltech e11. Maybe they can send you a copy of my map. My car is still there or I'd email it to you.

who did you called and left message to? anyways, I have a map you can use but from looking at your setup, it will not work since you're using a stock ignitor for trailing and MSD for leading, your timing will be all over the place. anyways, PM me and I will send you a map.
