It is an 18 gallon custom built tank with the dry break filler and roll-over valve.

They are J sport fenders but they were changed quite a bit to match up to the Panspeed front bumper.
On a side note, I have a set of front Panspeed fenders and rear flares (add-on) among many other things for sale....

FD3Rotor, are you running the exhaust out the rear quarter panel, in front of the rear wheel? If so, what did you have to do to clear a path for the exhaust, w/o having to cut the rocker panel?

So, you're being pretty "hush" "hush" about who's fabricating the car. Any reason for not disclosing that info? Props to whoever is doing the fabrication. I knew of a 3 rotor dry sump install at a shop here in AZ a year or two ago for a "Minnesota" customer. Is this by chance your car?

I dont have a picture of it, but they had to cut and box out where the storage pocket behind the passenger seat was. It works out well if you dont mind losing the storage.

Hmm...very interesting. Do you have a passenger seat? Or is it routed through the passenger area (ie do you lose the space for a passenger seat too?)

TIA,
~Ramy

It looks stock minus the two compartment doors. It is smooth fiberglass rather than the plastic compartment, same shape though. They also had to reinforce the frame rail on the right side for it to pass thru. The passenger seat is unaffected.

Damn, I wonder what it will sound like that once completed with that exhuast setup.

Your fuel setup looks like something off of a JGTC car, whas the advantages of that?

It is incredibly loud!! Its about as loud as a ALMS GT car.
The dry break fuel setup is the standard in most pro race series'. The main reason is saftey, theres a roll-over valve.
Plus you can fill 10 gallons in a matter of seconds....

and of course it looks cool too!!

FD3Rotor,

Who built your engine and also did you get the dry sump kit from Mazda Comp?

The motor was built by Atkins, and the dry sump is built by Razor. Actually just the pumps are razor, (oil pump and fuel pump) The oil pan was CNC'd by a guy in Washington and the motor was setup by our fabricator in AZ.
Sorry I cant mention the fabricators name or the shop that is doing the work. (I was asked not to) I know thats rather shady but sorry!!

Dyno

The car made 670rwhp @ 10 psi....no methanol
I will try to get the sheets....
Still having problems getting the oil pressure to the turbos low enough.

On a side note, cleanest spark plugs I have ever seen on a rotary after 5 dyno pulls. They looked brand new!! The E85 fuel is working great!!

jesus-h-christ. Did you get videos of the dyno run? How about more- finished pics? Do you have a db reading at WOT? I'm heading back up to Michigan Tech, looks like one of my drives will be to see this thing in action, if you will post when and where you will be running in wisconsin/minnesota.

I'd love to see the dyno chart. How much hp did it make at 3500 and 4500rpms?

Zach,

I looked at the earlier pics of your engine and second time around, I noticed it wasn't the Mazda comp dry sump or aviation dry sump.

Thanks for the info. The project looks awesome!

The main reason we did a dry sump was for the 1" thick billet oil pan. It really adds rigidity for all the rotational forces.

That was the reason of me going Dry Sump also and ability to just mount the engine to FD subframe. I'm trying to track down a cheaper source as Mazda Comp charges around 3k.
