Dowel pinning 20B turbo?
Here's an e-mail about the 20b studs:

With that and the bore & tap kit is about 693.00 US. Not bad! Hmmmm I wonder if they would just sell 8 studs(4 long ones & 4 short ones) because thats all thats needed to properly dowel a 20b.

Hi,
20B racing stud kit should be available in 2-3 weeks weeks. Cost will be approximately $545.00 (Australian Dollars) plus freight. This price will be confirmed once production is complete. US conversion will depend on the exchange rate at the time but at today’s rate would be around $387.00.
If you should have any further queries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thats about 30.00 each per stud in US dollars. This should be an easy installation for us do-it-yourselfers.

Hi,
The studs have been black oxided to prevent any corrosion and if they are coated with anti-seize on installation, there should be no problem. As race engines are generally pulled down fairly regularly, the timeframe alone should negate any difficulties.
Yes, regular dowels can be a problem in this regard. Another reason our Stud Kit is a terrific alternative!
The studs can be purchased separately, at a cost of approximately $43.00 each. (Australian)
Hope this info helps.

Suzie
