I'm pretty sure that Logan's going for a progression on his build up and thus the single large TB.
As for the radiator, any time you can get a better cooling radiator, why not go for better cooling?

And if you want to see videos, go to YouTube and search for Defined Autoworks FD and you'll find plenty, look for the black FD with green cage and 3 rotor obviously.
