Not sure, it actually looks like the stock hood might have clearance issues also.

Going to try and test fit a stock hood today and see how much room there is.

GTORX7 built a 20b with only re-locating a fitting on the stock steering rack, and didnt touch the firewall or relocate the entire steering rack (has no bump steer). I believe he wrote up how to relocate the fitting and has made a few extra mounts.

I talked to Dennis earlier today for those of you that have asked for his contact info, and those that will need it done in the future. He can get it done much quicker than i had it done. When you have a guy paying you $120k to build a race car, a $225 manifold job kinda takes the back seat But he's done with the car now so he's got alot more time.

ITs been awhile since I saw this thread.. And my 20B project has been on back burner for awhile.. I can't even put my 13B in and its been built 2 years ago.

So, Acosta now does the LIM cutting?? I remember when they wouldn't say anything about anything... LOL!

I have another question. What Dry Sump kits do most of you have? Also is aviation dry sump the same as the Mazda comp dry sump? someone verify this for me.

Also GTORx7, I'm still intersted in the alternator relocation kit. I don't think I ever got a pricing for one. PM me if you see this..

Yes they are. I have the same cover but sourced from the aviation company that designed it before Mazdacomp used/bought it to replace their older dry sump front cover system.
I got it much cheaper than what it is currently available for
