Custom intake manifolds?

Hi guys,

who makes custom intake manifolds for the 20B? I tried seraching, but nothing comes up.
What power is the stock manifold good for? What about the stock TB?

TIA

Some custom intake manifold fabricators with 3-rotor experience:

I typical type "bhp" if it's flywheel.
Oh, and these numbers are off a DynoJet for reference.

I've seen a lot of 700hp (rw)+ (well, ps) in the Japan magazines, and they got no problem running the stock intake manifold.

700hp on a 3rotor roughly translates to 500hp on a 13B.

Now, I can't quantify through lab testings if it's a real restriction, but if these cars are producing that kinda power, it's good be okay, right?

I'm definitely sure it can easily surpass 500.

We'll find out in a few months hopefully!

Hi Ted, I am pretty sure the stock setup will flow 700whp.
But like you guys know, the Supra TT manifold flows 800whp, but upgrading teh manifold only at that power level can give you upto 10% more power ( Veilside manifold).
On the Mitsubishi Evos ( we do a lot of them), the stock manifold becomes restrictive after 500whp. But that is on a 4cyl engine. Again, adding a good manifold will give you up to 10% more hp.

We will see how it goes down the road. Lets get the engine first, disassemble it, and decide what power we want, what turbo, and then we will go for the manifold decision.

I can make the manifold you are looking for, but unless it is for show or pure competition stock manifold extrudehoned will support 800whp more than enough for a real nice ride, and alot less expensive. Ted I may have a dyno sheet or two for you, it has been awhile and I'm not sure if I can find them.

Hi ZeroR, glad to hear that:-)

I guess we will keep the stock manifold for now, just add a bigger TB.
