Porting the stock 20B turbos / or upgrading

Who can do it and what can it be upgraded to ?

shtupid99: I think he means he wants to upgrade the turbos - not upgrade the car. Besides, I wouldn't call a supercharger an "upgrade" for a twin turbo car.

I heard that Pettit upgrades the stock twins . I believe BNR does as well. What do you mean by "porting the turbo's"? The only porting that I know of is on the wastegate and that would be done if you were experiencing boost creep.

Porting the turbos as in taking the housings of the compressor / turbine and makign room for a larger cartrige. People have been doing this for a long time ( a cheap way to get more power out of your stock turbos )

We normally call that a compressor upgrade or hybrid.

After some digging here is what i found:


FC ---> Hitachi HT-18 x1
FD ---> Hitachi HT-12 x 2
20B JC ---> Hitachi HT-10 + HT-15
13B JC ---> Hitachi HT-10 x 2

I have a set of 20B stock turbo's and a set of Stock 13B Cosmo turbo's I'll sell for cheap if you want them.. You could probably run the 2 HT15's non sequential with some manifold porting to get what your looking for..
