What the best automatic transmission that I can buy for the 20b into an fd project. Let me know, as I have one underway

 

Well I guess I didnt provide enough information. How much horspower and torque can the stock cosmo or fd automatic transmission hold? What are the other alternatives for an automatic transmission for a 20b in an fd

 

well the stock cosmo with a rechipped computer from re-amemiya is said to get around 450hp
and they don't seem to be having to many problems with the auto.
that said I have the 20b and its auto in my fc and it seems to work fine but as soon
as i have time its getting pulled and a 5 spd is going in.
the auto is great for daily driving but when you want to start putting your foot into it
a 5spd would work better.
also another thing to keep in mind, the 20b makes a pile of heat and the auto
tranny just adds to it, this is another reason why i am putting in a 5spd.

The stock 20b Auto isn't that good i killed two before converting to a manual FD box.

Hes the one that i bought my from...and it worx great!!
Shifts like god, and the car almost spin every time i shift.

Say to him that you want the same tranny as the swedish rotary guy (GABI.G)
Or if you want maybe a better then the one i got... mine can only handel 1250hp!!
