Whipple Tll

Well fellas, I swapped that 750 Edelbrock out for an 850 Barry Grant Mighty Demon and fuel pump upgrade and I can honestly say that that combination with the screw type supercharger makes an awesome street car. It was pretty impressive at VIR also. Of course the addition of some KEI OFFICE Coilovers didn't hurt either. The comment about lag with a suck thru set-up such as this may possibly be true in some cases, I wouldn't know, but I do know that in this case the only thing that lags is your head following the rest of your body because it gets snapped back so hard no matter what gear you punch it in. It certainly doesn't have the top end of my big turbocharged 3rotor FD but it is a heck of a car and the object of every boy's desire around here. As far as Ken goes, I only knew him for 2 days when I flew into Seattle to pick up the car. It had a few minor undisclosed deficiencies but nothing serious and I got a good deal overall. He obviously knew his way around a rotary at least a little.

I have the paperwork from whipple somewhere-I'll find it eventually and I'll get someone to help me post some pictures. Iam afraid that at my age that I am not real computer savvy and things that you younger guys can do with your eyes closed I have never even done. Hell, when I went to college in 1972 we were punching holes in stacks of cards in Fortran!

I do know that the supercharger is not sold by whipple anymore. I believe that they told me that they changed suppliers. They do not manufacture their own units.

What pulley sizes do you run and how much boost is created?
