Dude, that can't be right. I'm a newbie, but I know that is WAY too good to be true. Why even bother getting an engine rebuild when you can get a 20B? Do his 20B's require rebuilds or something? Are these Mazda 20B's out of the Cosmo, or 20B's built by some parts salvage company and they are out of airplanes or other vehicles?
A 20B that needs a rebuild is worth more than 2200 alone!

If I'm not mistaken he's in Cali, I'm not 100% sure call him and ask. He says he sells them cheap is because he can sell more of them that way instead of sitting on them for months before someone decides to buy it, he get's a crate of 80 motors or so @ a time not all are 20b's but if you want one he will get it.

well there were two 20B's for sale here in NZ a couple of weeks ago for NZ$3375 and $3900.
Thats a less than US$2000
We bought a whole JC Cosmo for NZ$4500, well and one with a dead engine for $5000 but in far better condition and road registered!

nippon sells very cheap nissan motors. Extremely cheap.
They sound pretty good, do they have a website?

You know all the stuff included? Like wiring harness, turbos, intake manifold etc etc.

Be sure to ask if anything more than engine tranny and ECU is included. Like wiring harness, turbos, intake manifolds etc.
I think that tranny and ecu are useless to any of us. We want a manual, and not many people can get the 20b to work off of the stock ECU.
We want turbos, manifolds, coils, all that ****.

What's this "WE" stuff. I am estatic over the fact the auto tranny may come with it. For some odd reason automatics are frowned upon. You can make an automatic launch out of the hole like a rocket. I just hope I can get the torque converter stall speed changed. And I plan on ditching the turbos and converting to NA w/injection anyway.

What is this?&nbsp You related to peejay or something?

The automatic trans is out of a LUXURY vehicle.&nbsp I'd bet you'd either break the thing upping the performance, or it's going to perform like crap trying to flog the 20B engine.&nbsp You guys too lazy to shift or something?

You know your right. Maybe a GM turbo350 would do what I need. Or maybe one of the overdrive units they have? What do you think?

You guys too lazy to shift or something?
Absolutley!!!!!! But I also like the part about the human reaction time for shifting gears gone from the equation too..Oh and out of the hole all I'd have to do is stand on the brakes and twist it to exactly where I want it. Then let go!!! If my converter is set up right I am in the meat of the power immediately.

But this is just how I plan to do it. It may not be what you desire.

My 20B will be going on a Jatco tranny. That's an auto in a Mazda. It should be able to handle at least 450HP with slight mods. 600HP would most likely break it though. Maybe I could settle for 500HP or so. Gotta update the diff next!

Maybe just a 6 rotor rx7 since I was the one that picked up the last 20B he had.

Wow your right the website did state $3600.00, maybe news on pricing travels fast.
