20b throttle body

can some one tell me if the 20b throttle body is bigger or smaller than the 13brew throttle body, and if it is by how much is it.Would it make sense to use a 13brew throttle body on a 20b motor .

I know of two members here who are using the 13brew throttle body rather then the 20b throttle body because it's larger.

Both the 20b and 13brew tb's are the same size.
Both have 45mm primarieas and 50 mm secondaries. I have both downstairs and measured them both a while back. The 20b however is more like a 13bt (87-91) tb in that it has the second set of secondary butterflies in the tb itself as opposed to the uim like the 13brew.

does that mean that it would be more beneficial to use the FD throttle body if you will be using no emissions on the 20b?

I'm using the stock 20b throttle body in my cosmo but with all the emmisions crap and secondary butterflys removed plus a bit of porting. I've no figures but a big improvement over the stock setup.

There are a few other considerations:
1. the idle air control motor is attached to the TB not the upper intake manifold.
2. I believe the Brake booster also gets vacuum from a port on it.

I am using the 20b throttle body with cosmo intakes on my 13b. CMonakar is right about the IAC. Not sure about the brake booster.... There is a hole on my UIM I think. Also I dont think you can run the 13brew throttle body because it doesn't completely seal with the UIM. At least thats what I was told for the cosmo 13bt UIM.

Actually there isnt much differance in the two certainly not size-wise the 13Brew TB however does use 4 bolts to secure the elbow versus only two on the 20B TB , i personaly for this issue like the 13B more but for throttle cable issues and the fact that i dont have my greddy elbow anymore i used the 20B TB

All i know is that tearbo2"?" used a 20b tb on his cosmo 13b, because it offered more flow.
however, All I am saying is that i read this in a thread.. it may or may not be true, but he is making huge power off his motor.

there 6 intake tubes, two per roter one is primary and one is secentdary i think.
inside the tb they go to spit openings. the hole mess as lots of wieght and i dont want it in the air.
