20b & T78?

Would a T78 be a good option on a 20B?

Has anyone fitted one or seen it done? Would it be more responsive on a 20b?

Thanks....Chris

Ported / non-ported?

I and I'm sure everyone in this 20b forum would love to have a thread to compare the relations between different turbos with spool up times of various boost settings vs. ported and non-ported engines. I'm sure most info would be purely speculative, but with some of the knowledgable folks in here, I bet some good ballpark figures could be thrown around (GO GIANTS!).

That sounds really small to me. If i remember correctly the thought of twin T04s on a 20b was debated before.

1.75 is a Huge turbine Housing. I was using a 1.15 on my 13b and i thought that was big.

ok on my 13b non ported running 15 lbs.boost would start building at 3800-4k rpms.

on a 20b it would be 3200 rpms.ive spoke with m2 about when i was going to use my t78 i used to have on a 20b compared to a t51r.but instead i went with sumtin else.

general rule of thumb... anything that performs well on a 2rotor is going to be too small for a 20B. I think it was crispeed that stated a T-76 on a 20B was very similar to running a 60-1 on a 13b (flow to flow comparision...)
