20B in a Mustang??
20B in a Mustang??
In all seriousness, is this possible? probable? What problems would have to be overcome? Expenses? Has this been done before (wishfull thinking) This would be for my friends 98 Mustang GT. Will search for more info after hearing opinions. Thanks for responding in advance. (Jumping in flamesuit).

Do it. At the very least, weld some Mustang engine mounts to a beer keg and stick it in just to mess with him.
Might take some custom fabrication, at least new engine mounts and oil pan. I was talking to someone about rotary miatas and he said that it took Racing Beat 12 hours just to fab the oil pan to fit the fabricated crossmember to fit the custom everything else.
To my knowledge, revenge for 350SBC FD/FC/FBs, Jaguars, Miatas, 914s and countless other cars has not occured. I think you should be crazy and do it.

It's going to cost about $10,000 for a 300hp 20B installation, and other than a gull-wing door conversion, it may be the most difficult project you guys could possibly attempt with that car. For less money and much less work your friend could install a 510hp 460.
