do yourself a favor and search... you may find that some mounts are better then others if you are installing a 20b

Here is the short answer...

Most conversion mounts were developed around the 13b-re cosmo motor instead of the 20b... Both motors share the same mounts therefore you would assume that there would be no problems using the cosmo conversion mounts with a 20b...but the 13b-re is shorter and sits behind the steering rack and the motor can sit really low in the chassis... the 20b is about 9 to 10 inches longer and has to sit up and over the steering rack so you have to shim the hockey puck mounts with about a 1/2" of spacer to get the oil pan off the steering rack when using most of these conversion mounts

I have the RPM mounts and I had to shim them to clear the pan

Huh, really?

How much did you have to shim it up? I test fitted our mounts with some solid aluminium mounts under it and it just cleared the rack, but it wasn't going to move so it was all good. I guess the hockey pucks are shorter than our aluminum mounts.

yeah , I will take a few pictures. They are very nice mounts... I just had to use a few washers on each mount to get it to clear the rack ... I was thinking of using the poly FD mounts... but may end up doing something similar to AWR's FC mounts

my camera took a dump, but i measured the spacer and it is 7/16" which clears the oil pan by less then a 1/4"
