20b into fd question

i noticed a lot of you guys who do the 20b-fd conversion use the fd throttle body ,why not use the 20b`s own TB ???,is it because of the throttle cable or is it because of the intake elbow (points slightly upwards ,starts to touch the hood) ??
also where do you guys get a vac port big enough for the brake booster i cant seem to find one on neighter upper nor lower manifold (makes me wonder where it got its vac source for the brake booster in the cosmo ???)
just some stuff i am running into on my conversion ......little things ..........bot nonetheless ANOYING!!!!

I believe some people bore and tap one of the 4 vacuum lines on the back of the UIM. Thats what it looks like to me on one of Derrick's engine bay pics(3rotorrx7.com).

I used the 20b throttle body and modified the greddy elbow to fit. the 20b t-body has the idle valve on it vs. the upper intake manifold on the FD.

i am probably not going to use a idle valve so thats no problem (the valve is in the way of my coils anyways) how do you solve the t-cable problem then ???new t-cable ?? , do you have it made or is there some other mazda car that will fit directly ??,or do you use the stock one and leave it to bundle under the hood??

Stock cable fits fine on 20b tbody. I just made a gradual loop in it. You need to be carefull not to loop to tight you will cause drag on the cable and cause the throttle to stick.

another thing i also bumped into ,
i noticed on some pictures of converted fd , no water filler neck ,now i know you cant use the stock fd neck cause it will stick out the hood ,now i see a lot of pictures of the hose leaving the waterpump housing into the radiator ,it looks real cool but how dou you fill the damn thing???

You use a long funnel and fill the radiator through the upper radiator hose fitting. Then you clamp it on. j/k

you can take off a tb water hose too. on the fd when you stand the radiator up it seems to be hard to get the air out of it
