Guy's what kind of none cooler set-up is on this vehicle? Does not look like a cooler to me in anyway? Presume it has a purpose though?

Looks like an air-to-water cooler.

Yea, it's a PWR water to air intercooler.

A bit like my set up below.

Nice.. Where does the water go in and out on this cooler? I can see where I think it goes on the one in the vid but cannot see any pipes out of your one? Other than the air pipes!

By the way there is far too much space in that engine bay!

So what is the plus side to using a charge cooler over a tradtional IC?

I can only see downsides so far other than shorter pipe runs if you can squeeze it in the engine bay?

Cheers

The water inlet and outlet are on the underside of the barrel.

Water is a more efficient conductor of heat so you can get almost ambient air intake temps with this setup. The intake length is short giving you better response and you can also add a water/ice slurry container into the water cooling line for lower than ambient air temps.

One main reason I went this path was that I didn't want to cut holes for large intercooler pipes and the radiator was already further forward giving even les room for a big intercooler.

Nice build, I'm currently switching to an Air to water setup similar to yours.
