i may have to sell mine after i get it tuned, long story. i hate to have to do it but it seems like my best option. i was planning on asking $45k. hard to let something go that i've had for 7 years and spent SO much money and time on. i dont have new paint or a body kit though, but the exterior aesthetics are easy. its hard to set a high and low value for such a customized car. i would say low around $35k, and a high of $55k. but that's just my opinion.

It would be worth whatever you can sell it for. You will probably not get your money back if you try and sell it, not many people will fork over the money you will put into the car unless they really want it and have money in hand other than that you'll only get blue book value for the FD itself

You will almost never recoup costs of building a car versus what it's worth...what someone else is willing to pay...

They don't call it a "money pit" for nothing.

Please...don't try and build cars just to get your money back.
You'd be sorely disappointed.

i might be in the end but how i look at it if im asking some much and no one wants to pay that then i just keep a really bad *** car right? if it sells then ill make some cash. eather was ill be happy buy it is sad becouse you look at REDRX7 and he sold his for 40k and it was worth way more but u r right its about what they want to pay. ohh well. we shall see i guess. thanks for the feed back

Red's car was built by a professional and had the hp to back it up. You will always get more money for your car depending on the quality of work done to it.

that i understand. trust me the car will have around 800HP at the flywheel and the quality will be top notch. its not being built by some back yard Mech. its being build by the shop my Brother-in-law owns. California customs and hes well know around here for the best paint and body work. and the motor is being sent off for work not sure who just yet. my brother in laws shop builds mustangs and old GTOs and what ever someone has the money to afored his work. but like i said im not sweating but thats for concurn

Has anyone heard from RED lately? Heard how the lawsuit is coming? how his dad is doing? That was a fucked up situation, I hope that he gets it resolved and gets another FD and builds it to be more hardcore than his last one.
