Have you re checked the rpm to which the alternator now reaches it full output capacity? Curious since it's how spinning much slower.

It is charging OK by 1500 RPM with the lights on. Thats also where I have the idle set.

Nice numbers chuck. Glad to see it all in one piece. I might give you a buzz and come take a look at the finished setup sometime this week. Either that or I'll just see it on the drive. Either way way its nice seeing it running with a snail tucked in the engine bay.

Beautiful car, work, and tuning. I love how it all came together. Can you get anymore videos of driving?

how much overlap are you running on your streetport?... 1500RPM idle seems a bit high?

i'm interested in the subframe; was any cutting done to the firewall?
seems like the engine was pushed back into the firewall about 6" & the manifold was lowered as much as possible without hitting the fuel rail.

whats the story on that? are there any additional pics during the install?

Cartman are you shifting at 8.5ish? I saw an in-dash video of a 20B FC and he had modified the stock tachometer to read through the 10-12k range which (it's been a while) is where I recall him shifting at.

Just wondering.

That FC you saw also had the P ports to move that much airflow. Cartman is just running an aggressive street port. Theres really no more power to be made up there. Plus the engine that was in the car on Cartman's video was not doweled or pinned to take the higher revolutions.

Ah okay, I'm still learning about the 20B, even though it's been over a year since I've taken interest into it. We're all still learning though, I guess.

The engine is setback about 7 inches. The firewall and subframe were modified to allow this.

The lower manifold is 2 inches shorter. I'm using a custom fuel rail for both the primary and the secondarys.

I'll post a picture of the engine bay with the engine out.
