20B FD Package Potentially For Sale
Your weight was helping you a lot in that case. As we can all see from the pictures of this car it isn't anywhere near 2200lbs. How much does a 20b add to the curb weight of the car? Say he is sitting there in a 500whp, 2800lbs car...I say it is a close race with a well driven z06.
The new z06 is 3150lbs...not too bad for a modern car. I think it was a big leap forward for the price point (which I know is more like $65K). They have been putting down nearly 600whp with a cam, intake, exhaust setup...which is formidable power in a competent chassis.

A petit 20B FD with twins sold at Barret Jackson for 56k usd.

I do perfectly understand the difference between a 500-600rwhp 2700lb car and a z06. But that is simply not the package he is presenting as he said himself that he has issues to work out.
This gentleman had the work done by someone so yes he put alot of money into the car.
If you think a 20b with a single w/ a motor in good shape is worth 50-70k cdn then I have the deal of the century for you sir. I know someone with a 20b installed onto the stock FD subframe. Running a t70 turbo at the moment. His problem is ignition needs upgrading so he is running 8psi. I beleive it is an R1 from memory it is BB and he was asking me 30k for the car so lets say 30-35k and you have something you consider it worth double without a F15 Cockpit.
I think a setup like I mentioned is much more worthy than one based on a modified Hinson subframe.
Also as with David Hayes' car the mods were done tastefully so would it be worth more, of course!

the pettit 3 rotor that sold at barrett jackson was put up on a thursday so there were not as many people there that knew what it was. they have another going up for sale and will be getting a saturday spot most likely. they expect it to net about 80,000 or more.

You're obviously in the wrong business - sell "performance" cars and make a living at it since it appears that you know so much more about buying/spending more shrewdly than the rest of us. If this is the case, than your margins should be great and you will be weathly beyond expectations...

Im looking for that exact setup you have, and at the same time selling or "Trade-in-$" my 13B complete street port, Greddy single turbo PowerFC 1600 etc etc. 420HP.
