I had been told that Mazda had stop making parts for the older rotarys, I must have been very lucky, as I got my plates Friday afternoon 
, is there any other company re-making plates/ rotor housings??
Some one told me that Race Beat do a blank plate??--eg for PP---no ports in the side plates
Is this right???
As I would like to get new housings.

Heard the nes about this issue.
I scored a new centre bearing plate a couple of months & was told that there are just a few left in the world.
Whilst the 13B rotor housings are not an issue & the 20B shaft can be sourced via "Guru motorsport" here in Oz. The sticking point is going to be the "centre bearing plate".
To date, no one re-manufactures these plates & Mazda are not interested in doing another production run.....
Who ever buys your centre bearing plate dazda will be a lucky man indeed. Hope it goes to a good home as I think many surfing here wont really appreciate this issue until its to late for them.

sorry about the pics of the plates--taking with my phone.(and plates are still in the bays) Was told by the Mazda parts Dealer that there are No E-shafts, so I'll be looking at after market ones---seen one on a New Zealand Auction site--(trade me) for $2600 (NZ)

That really sucks. The good thing, though, is that you can get the aluminum blanks of this housing through racing beat, but they will also port them from stock port to full j-bridge according to their site. Look at it this way: It'll keep the extra weight down...

does anyone have a CAD drawing of one? i can probably mill one at our machine shop. im still looking for an e-shaft to measure into CAD as well, although i think i have a solution to that one.

Mazdacomp has 40 thick intermediate plates on order. Currently out of stock. No delivery date.
ps why are these intermediate plates made out of cast iron? seems like some weight could be saved with al, ti, or mg.
