20B center bearing install

Short story

Installing new center bearing into stationary gear and i need to know which side goes notch to (side with ring gear or other one)

and if it has to be 100% flush with flat side or not? (mine was not)

If somebody has detailed pics of center gear with bearing installed , it would help

thanks!

Just double checked one that I have on the shelf. The notch is on the bolt flange side and the bearing protrudes 1mm
