dude you're gonna build an 800 horse power 3-rotor and put ebay racing seats in there? Are those 800 horsepower-supporting seats

yeah something like that. I think an rea widebody kit for around 5k will be enough to spruce up some 500$ race seats. I think the rea body kit should supp 800 hrse hehe. what kind of question is that anyway. Phillips eavns has a 600hrs two rotor, Dan devin has a 900 dyno'd triple, dee's two rotor u can watch the video of his PF dyno'd 614 to the wheels. I think we'll be fine oh and matt the guy carrying the turbo, Rotorsport of NC Brian a friend of ours that owns the place bulit his 600hrs two rotor and is now building a 1000 to the wheels triple rotor project car and has been in the business for 15 yr. we'll all be carivaning to the race in new jers next week to watch the the yellow car I have up there run 9's all day u wanna come see some fasssst race seats?

I agree drive it like u stole it. If it blows gives u a good reason to rebuild it better.

When i'm grannying around i like to put expensive interior in my daily driver. like this one.

No he isnt doing the pport 3 rotor. Dan sold that to someone else. Allan is doing a stock 20b rebuilt by panspeed in the other pic. I did see the shell and it is clean as hell and he has done it all by himself, all new wiring and all which is pretty nuts.

Phil is a good builder and his FD is ****** nuts too. Allan I do think Dan was right though, the 400s might be a better setup. That kit will look sick as **** on the car too. I know I will blow the doors off of that Z car with my ls1 fc when it is done but that FD will make me look like a miata sitting still. I think I'll have to go with a procharger setup.

And BTW those are not ebay seats. Damn nice seats if you ask me. You got one hell of a deal on that exhuast Allen. **** is going to be nice.

I thinking something along the lines "safety of seats"?
they'll probably snap loose pretty quick but I really hope they dont for the drivers sake.

Hey guys, I have a 3 rotor big head that I'm trying to get rid of. It was in a drag racing car that ran 7.28 at a 1/4 mile. The engine has a lot of work on it - the most important being the Mazda Speed Chromoly Crank Shaft. This would be great for a conversation or for a drag car if any of you are interested, see my post in the "for sale" section.

Will have a damn good vid of Dan's car soon. He is picking it up from the builder in FL this week.

9-sec yellow car vid as requested:

Please send link of vid of 1000hp widebody drag car, I would love to see that. Better yet send a pic of your seats and mods.

This car is going to be a street car, not a drag car, it will be making sick *** power and not an expense was spared on it, not even the seats.

Please post link to ebay auction with those red seats. I'd love to see it. I have identical seats in black. Speaking of that didn't you get your entire car off of ebay???

"Delivery Day

After purchasing this car on eBay I had it shipped from Las Vegas, NV to Sarasota, FL. The shipping took a few days and the car arrived very dirty, but that was nothing that a good wash couldn't take care of. Here are a few photos of the car being delivered to my home in Florida."

Nice hood there on that car. Does it support 800hp? Was there a sticker on it that says "rated for 800hp"? I must see this for the sake of safety, because it is an ebay VIS knockoff of Knightsports and you never know.

Guys, Allen is here posting his build. He is putting every bit of money and effort into doing this right. Don't come into the thread to simply be a smartass.

mazda's RX7 specs page on 20b engines

Potential power outputs:
*The standard power output of a 20B turbo is 280HP.
*With turbos removed (naturally aspirated), these engines produce 250hp stock, 320hp if ported.
*Apparently with the mere addition of a boost controller the power jumps to around 400HP.
*Rod Millen's Pike's Peak race car made about 500HP with a nearly stock engine.
*Japanese modifiers get about 700HP without too much trouble (I suspect this would be at a level where some engine porting and severe turbos would be required).
*Racing beat's Bonneville racer makes 900+ hp with a triple turbo peripheral port 13G
*The above figures were all mid-late 1990s. In 2002 some drag racers are claiming 1200hp.

OMG as the girls say
*Rod Millen's Pike's Peak race car made about 500HP with a nearly stock engine.
*Japanese modifiers get about 700HP without too much trouble (I suspect this would be at a level where some engine porting and severe turbos would be required).

So basically any one with around 4k for a good single turbo kit and some decent tuning can easily get 700 without too much trouble. Maybe like a s400 BW?
I spent more than that on rims and tires once!
