It would be a lot more work and money wasted than is necessary. A 240sx is basically the same thing as an FC3S Rx-7. Same weight, same handling characteristics, etc, etc. Therefore, you are going to a lot more trouble to do an 20B->240sx and would make the 20B->FC look like a piece of cake (probably Devils Food cake... it's freekin good!!)

Point for Nissan - double wishbone suspension, versus FC - FD is moot.

Point against Nissan - those 240SX's are TERRIBLE in terms of build quality.&nbsp Take a look at how the car is built - under the car and suspension pieces specifically - it's all cheap, stamped ****.&nbsp Numerous rust problems (stock rear spoiler, base of windshield) make the car a royal pain to fix - S14's are built better, but are usually double for what a good S13 sells for.

Point against Nissan - single piston front brakes, woefully inadequate for even the stock car; at least the FC runs 4-piston fronts - Z32 brakes can be easily adapted to the S13 though.

Point against Nissan - 4x114 bolt pattern on S13's; luckily, S14 5x114 hubs bolt on easily.

The swap makes for an interesting combination, but after having to spend another $5,000 just to stuff all the spherical links (i.e. Battle Version) and get some real brakes on the car, it just only then makes it a serious contender to the FC.

Yeah, 240Z's have so much engine bay room it is disgusting!

Super flexy chassis though... I recall one guy who had a (much) modified 2.8 in his 240Z often related how when the boost would hit, it would twist the nose of the car enough to make the rear edge of the hood overlap the fender.
