Hey guys,
My apologies for falling off the face of the planet! School came first but now that my senior design project is complete, I'm going to try and finish this 4 year car project. I plan on sealing the fenders and fastening them with some black rivets on Sunday. I promise to post more as soon as I can :-)

The flares and front bumper (along with side panels) are on their way to the painter. I'm going to flat black the flares and the front bumper -- I think it will look nice.
Today, my dad and I dug through all of my parts bins to find the side panels for the front bumper. I was worried that it would interfere with the front flares and require us to modify a few things.
We first bolted up the front bumper:
and then the side panels:
As you can see, there's a bit of a problem with how that side panel fits on the quarter panel so I was worried that we would have to cut it to make it fit. Here is what the gap looked like:
But once we got it bolted all together, it really looked pretty good IMHO:

Here are some more shots:
After taking everything off, we cut the excess metal with snips (much cleaner and easier than using a cutting wheel) and simploy bent the remaining metal to keep from slitting our wrists:
I did some work on the existing trim pieces to make them fit as well. This is the rear passenger side:
As it turns out, the front flares look fine on top of the front bumper side panels. At least, I think they do!
I still have a little bit of work to do in figuring out how to address the fender liners. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to make that work...

Got the parts back from the painter today. $305 for the fenders, bumper pieces, and front bumper. The color is exactly what I was looking for but I don't know if my photography skills (or lack thereof) convey it very well.
The bumper is just hanging out at the moment but here's a front/side shot of it. The second is pretty accurate, in terms of color, on my current monitor:
Hopefully I'll have these mounted in the next week. I'll try not to get too distracted by my new acquisition...(apologies for the massive amount of reflection):

Without any replies since my last post, I figured the community lost interest . I haven't forgotten -- I have the appropriate tape just not the right fasteners. I'm trying to source these locally but I can't seem to find them online or locally.
