82 with 79-80 Bumpers- Hell it is a 79 or 80! Look at the rims, they were stock for those years (mostly 79?) and the side molding. Does it have 70K miles on it? Who knows any more................ Not a bad deal though if you get it for $100-150.

If you check out the other auctions this company is running, it's a glorified junkyard - they probably have a 100+ cars on auction and not one of them looks like it is worthy of a decent junkyard. And all of them are 70/80s models and have between 80,000 and 130,000 miles. Sure they do...

It's an auction, buyer beware.

didn't the 79-80's only have a 5 digit odometer? so it's more like 170k miles... or 270k miles lol

Very good point. Also, "Most of the cars ran when they were parked" means "motor is fried... we said MOST, not ALL".

my god... this sounds like a disaster just waiting to happen for buyers. They currently have 291 auctions going, and they've sold 1 item in the past. This is probably all being done by one guy and a computer illiterate one at that...

Doesnt look like a junkyard, I didnt see any parts removed on the cars, or hoods, doors etc open.

Maybe its one of those places that when owner's cars can't pass emmissions they sell them too. Maybe thats the reason they cant sell to Maryland residences

Not actually a junkyard but close. Maryland requires vehicle safety inspection to transfer title (except within family). The cars probably did not pass inspection and the owners may not have wanted to deal with them and turned them in. Or dealers may have accepted trades and just gave them away as junkers. Who knows, who cares, buyer beware.

could also very well be an impond yard.if the car was stolen,or if someone got it impounded and the fees racked up so high it wasnt worth getting it out.i just thought for around $100.00 you could get what you need off it,then part it out on ebay and make a buck, not drive it around for a couple of years.hell im sure we can all think of one part on the car thats worth $100.00.i know i spent well over that on a couple of factory parts.

Interestingly, this one has disappeared out of the ebay database entirely. Pretty odd huh. I have noticed several cars I was watching have "disappeared" with ebay stating there are no entries in the database. Strange huh. Usually, you can see what they closed out at...

maybe they disappear if the seller ends the auction prematurely or you get one of those "buy it now for.." deals.

just a guess

Nope

The only way an auction will "disapear" is iff the seller gets booted.
