I may be mistake ... but i actually wouldn't doubt it if the hole are already there but just covered from stock. You might have to pull your interior panel and look in there. I would assume it would be visible from the inside if it was. Just a random guess that might be worth a try.

What's a good place to get those mirrors normally, price-wise? My 85SE has them deformed in the apartment fire. I will definately be replacing mine as soon as I get going on the body work.

I have some mirrors, I'll need a day or two to find them in the parts shed, they are yours for whatever doc got for his.

Nah, Its just becuase I talk to him outside the forum, and I know that they cant import anything used to his country, So I was wondering how he was able to get those to pass as New Old Stock.
