he sent me a cool pair of powered mirrors

I got them Doc, thanks!!!!!!!!

Now just a question: anyone knows the distance between the border of the door to the border of the mirror? that way I can calculate where they belong

I may be mistake ... but i actually wouldn't doubt it if the hole are already there but just covered from stock. You might have to pull your interior panel and look in there. I would assume it would be visible from the inside if it was. Just a random guess that might be worth a try.

I have the hole for the european ones, and its a lot closer to the front of the door.

No marks on the inside where this ones should be

What's a good place to get those mirrors normally, price-wise? My 85SE has them deformed in the apartment fire. I will definately be replacing mine as soon as I get going on the body work.

Nah, Its just becuase I talk to him outside the forum, and I know that they cant import anything used to his country, So I was wondering how he was able to get those to pass as New Old Stock.
