Yep, need help on putting together the new engine

Well when i got my engine the pulley on the front of the motor with the red and yellow timing ticks wasnt installed. Does it have to be installed at a certain spot? How do i kno where the tick marks have to be when installing?

With the acentric shaft keyway in the 9 o'clockish position the tick marks should line up with the timing pin.

so wich mark should line up with it perfectly? Theres a red and yellow, dont really remember wich is wich. But say i put one mark on the left of the line and one on the right, wich should be directly on it, the left of the right one? when looking at the front of the engine, from the front

Fuel injected, for now. Maybe in a year or so ill go carbed, but as soon as i find a 2nd gen imma take its fuel AFM and then remove the air box and run a k & N cone filter in front of my radiator. Someday im hoping for carb thou

I have a aftermarket pulley tghat has about 6 marks on it and it is much lighter than the stock one.

Don't know which one I'm supposed to time it on and wether or not it is worth the trouble.
