I figured out the 1st pre-silencer gave out the other day. I was considering replacing it with a cherry bomb glass pack, like i have instead of an rear pre silencer, unless i can find a another pre silencer. oh yeah, the flange gasket blow out, would that be availible at a local parts store?

go with the glass pack, it will give your rx-7 a nice rumble at low rpms and a mean high rpm that'll scare the **** out of any porsche or corvette driver...as for the flange gasket, you could try local parts stores, if nothing else, you can order one from a mazda dealership.

wasn't there a thread on this a while back that said that glasspacks were a *BAD* idea on rotaries?

I'd use the search function before doing that for sure
