WTF! My car blew snow at me!

I got in my car this morning, car has a nice 3'' layer of snow on it, no ice or anything, just nice powder, so I don't scrape it off. I start the engine, turn on the heat and let it warm up a little. Then when I use my wipers to brush the snow off my windshield, as it tosses the snow off, the center vents above the stereo blow snow at me!!! It was a nice steady spray for snow for about 10 secs until the wipers brushed it all off. WTF, where is the intake for the heater that it would suck in that snow and blow it on me! It suprised the sh*t out of me! Anyone else had anything like that happen?

Turn it on recirculate next time. All those vents in the cowl are where the fresh air comes in from.

The intake for the heater is in the cowl toward the passenger side of the car. Some snow, I'm sure, just happened to make its way down there.

I can imagine that your car blowing snow at you would surprise the hell out you. I personally have never had that happen. It would've be cool to have had that on video, though.

that would kick *** if someone you didn't like ever got a ride in your car.... just point all the vents at the passenger seat, and then pretend you didn't know it happened, like, the fake panic and everything

recirculate is good until the air in your car gets so humid that the "defroster" option actually fogs up all your windows
