Wtf
ok, so i got the carb rebuilt, tonight went to start it and it cranked right up. then i shut it off, tried to crank it up again and nothing. i looked at the front bowl and it's completely full. how do you adjust the floats so they come down just a bit? get a new spring? one more thing, would that cause my idle to be all lame? cause now it idles really rough, and there CANT BE A VACCUM LEAK!!! AHHHHHH, i have searched and replaced everything.

well, every now and then it will hold it's idle. but after i run it down the road and what not, and come to a stop it wants to die. when i shut it off the front bowl is FULL. so it's like a flooding problem maybe. when i first put the carb on there, it actually held a really good idle. slowly today during the time i had it out on the road it got worse and worse. i JUST DONT GET IT! AHHHHH!

OK OK OK, well after resetting the floats here is whats going on:
it cranked right up. i let it warm up a minute. turned it off. it cranked right up again! woot. now, when i took it out for a drive, it was very underpowered. the secondaries were kicking in, but it just wasnt the umph that it even had when it was way fuxd up. but it cruised nicely with out any real bucking or anything. so i park it and let it idle. it's idling a little rough, i messed with the mix screw and it changed nothing. i look down the carb and see that the primaries are spritzing the fuel correctly, but the left barrel of the secondaries was also DRIPPING fuel. only the left (from the passenger side). sooo, i think that may be causing my underpower ness too? what could this be from?

Airflow is my life
Re Check the sight glass for that barrel thats dripping.
Are your secondaries mechanical or vacuum?
Look on my cardomain page for a possible fix (down near the bottom of the page (carb return spring)

HOLY ***! hahahahhahaahha THANK YOU CARL! i forgot to put that thing back on the spring lock. all the power is back!!! YESSSS! but, i still have a slight rough idle, and it sputters when i drop a gear real fast. i think it's from too much fuel in the secondaries at the burst. it's still dripping in that one barrel. hmmm. i'm about to check the rear float window.
