WTB-RX7 Tulsa, 200 mile radius.

Looking for a reasonably clean, running 79-85 RX7. $1500 range. Can be cosmetically challenged but must be able to drive from wherever it is back to Tulsa,OK.

Might be interested in other sporty car options ie: Second gens, 240sx, XR4TI etc...

Post em up!

Pax

Bump, I would be interested in anything in the Las Vegas area also. My dad lives out there.

Heh... I'm selling my '84 GSL that's in pretty good shape but I'm a little far away. About 180K miles and also the rear quarter panel on the drivers has cancer. Other than that it's decent. If you're ever coming up North though...

Felgar- Man, I was there about a month ago, but we brought the Lear. Guess we might have to bring the DC-10 next time. Thanks for the offer, I'll look you up if I'm headed that way. Just in case you think I'm being a smart-***, I work for a charter airline, we've got some corporate jets and some airliners (DC-10's and 757's). I've still got this crazy idea that I'm going to bring a Lotus Carlton Omega over from europe on one of our planes, can't beat free air shipping for a car.

Hehe... Cool thx for info. I was sort of thinking man, this guy REALLY likes his RX's. lol

Have you researched the rules on importing a late-model RX-7 right from Japan? That's what I'd like to do if I had the means. Yeah, wrong side of the road and everything... Obviously not a daily driver.

I don't think getting it in the garage would be hard, getting it on the road legal is the tough part. Luckily, Oklahoma laws are not that tough, or at least easily circumvented I think. We have had a few flights over to Japan lately...hmmmmm.

Man the 2002 special edition version (1500 made) would be tooooo sweat. Waaay out of my means but damn... Even to have it sit in the garage. Or maybe there's a collector car status. I dunno. If you ever look into it I'm curious though.

i have an 84 rx-7 with 62k orignal miles .. .it has a little fender rust but the cars brown so you really cant tell. The clutch starts to slip when you floor it. Everything works in it except it does need a new plastic colum ($20 at a junk yard?). A/C is still cold never had to even charge it. im lookin for about $1500. And i am willing to deliever from ohio for a small cost cus it gives me a good reason for a road trip.
