is there a write up on swaping a se motor into a gsl? and what i need to do it i know i should go newer like 89+ but i just dont have the money!! sooo what all would i need to do same motor mounts? wiring is it the same as the gsl or should i get to whole thing? im soo tired of messing with the carb if you kno what i mean!!! sooo a write up would be nice but if not could you guys tell me?

RacingBeat sells the metal front bracket that lets you put a GSL-SE 13b into a car that originally had a 12a.

The wiring is a PITA. Get the shop manual for both (check the FAQ). If you have both cars' wiring diagrams you'll be okay.

Other than the mounting and the wiring, you need a high pressure fuel pump because the carbed cars use 3psi pumps, the FI needs like ten times that. When you change that you'll have to change all the rubber fuel lines to prevent them from bursting with the pressure.

Other than that I dunno. Should be the bulk of it.
