would a rb header fit

Went to the junk yard today. Only one rx-7 in the place. Anyways took a header off the 83 will it work on my 85gsl? What do i run after the header? Also how hard is it to install DLIDFIS And wher do i get the extra ignitors. Thanks for your help much abliged.

If its a 12a the header will fit.

so, did you take the exhaust manifold off an 83, or did you score and find an actual header?

no i took it off. had to jack the car up though. whay else do i need as far as exaust. it was a 12a. i paid 21 bucks for the 2 coils a hose and the header. did i get riped off?

is it a header? or just the exhaust manifold? go to racingbeat.com, and find a header... if it looks like that, you scored!

The ignitors on all '81-85 are on the side of the distributor (2) which are black. They are the size of a book of matches, attached with 2 phillips screws each and plug into the side.

Easier to use a 10mm socket and pull the distributor out housing and remove them.
