I changed my mind, that se is pretty bad ***. I now see what the big confusion is about. That is a hard decision to make. I think you are going to have to keep them both. How can you even consider getting rid of one. Ohh the humanity!

I'm going to be blunt here for a second, sorry if this upsets you, but about a month ago or more you vowed out of anything RX-7 related. You sold all of your stuff, and decided you would leave the scene. I don't think you lasted a week. Haha. You are going to get to Oregon minus one RX-7. Then what? First thing you will do is start lurking around looking for something. Looking for what? dunno, that's what you do. Then all of a sudden, boom! Just bought another RX-7 that you just had to get. Cycle starts all over again.

You are an addict for these cars just like most of us here, you more than others, it's in your blood. So do yourself a favor and figure out how you are going to haul that other RX-7 with you. LOL

That's almost the truth. I'll have you know that I lasted a whole month my Dear.
I can't help it if it just appeared and I was only 4 miles from where the car was being offered. It was destiny

The other one is Ben's fault. If his car didn't blow up then I would have been on my way back up to Oregon. And right now I could be freezing my *** off trying to find my car under all that snow.

I have attended rehabilitation classes. for Habitual Rotary offenders and I liked it so much that I keep coming back. I'm a Sick man so I keep prescribing more sevens for my cure.

Doc: I'm like you..Had a 84 S model since new, got rid of it when the water seals blew on the second engine that wad in it back in 96...My brother then sold me a 87 sport...Had that untill late 2000 when I bought a 68 Mustang...Sold the Rx-7 cuz the wife didn't like the idea of two play cars..Got rid of the wife in end of 2003 and bought 85 SE in April 2005...Point is that once your hooked on this cars, you are hooked...If you can swing it, keep both cars, if not, you'll always finding one even if your not looking for one..My brother gets on me on why I have so many cars..I tell him because I can!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doc - as a confirmed SA-nut, the choice for me would be obvious... keep the SA, add one of Carl's modded Nikki's and an RB exhaust and you are likely ahead of the performance curve compared to the SE. For now, maybe find your favorite stretch of road (something an hour-ish in length to really get in the Groove) and drive BOTH cars thru it - see what the Seat of your Pants sez. Then walk around both cars (separately) with the thought : "which car do I want see when I walk outside every morning". Then go with your gut and keep the SA

You're in a very painful situation Doc. My heart goes out to you.

For character and style, keep the SA.

For safety and comfort, keep the SE.

Personally, I love the SA more. However, I think it would kill me to not drive it for half of the year. I'd actually prefer not to have it in that situation. One of the advantages of living in Aust is that our cars don't capitulate in the extreme weather (except maybe the really really hot days).

Your collection of Junks are nothing compared to what I got rid of about 8 years ago.

So far the Se is losing the battle to stay.
