would 17" wheels and racing beat springs and tokico illuminas work?
Ok Ive got 17" wheels on my FB, with 40 series tires. IM looking at going with some racing beat springs and upgrading the shocks to some tokico illumina 5 way adjustables.
My question is, do you guys thing it will fit?? I dont have any rubbing problems at all now, and with the 40 series tires, the overall wheel diameter is only a little bigger than stock stock gsl-se wheels and tires.

I bet they'll fit. At worst you might have to do a little fender rolling or whatever.
Those RB springs will only lower you car about an inch, maybe not even that much if your stock springs are sagging.

itll work...
when i stuck my 16's with 50 series tire up next to my stock 13's with a 55 series tire(which is smaller than stock) the stock wheel/tire combo was actually a hair taller.....go figure.

They are konig reason wheels, on faulkin p205 40Z r17's
Tons of space left, they are just a little bigger than the stock wheels. The car handles ten thounds times better!!!! Even just parking lot steering is easier!
Its a harsher ride, but I like it. I have no rubbing problems at all.
The car feels a little slower on acceleration, and my spedomenter is a little off. Im gonna put some 4.44 gears in the back, and that should take care of it and then some! That'll go in there with a tosen diff too.
Man do I get looks going down the road though, I love it

ive got that same setup on my car,
RB springs, tokico illuminas, and 17 inch Konig Imagines (same rims as MAX7's car) w/ 215 40 tires all around
No rubbing except for the drivers front on hard bumps in turns but thats only because the fronts strut is blown.
