Won't idle help

I have an 85 GS that I just replaced the engine in with an 82 engine. Last night I got it running but the throttle responce is slow excerating and decerating. It also wont idle and when I took it for a drive the throttle stuck open like I had the choke on but the car was already warmed up.
Would this be caused by a vacuum leak?

The no idle is probably a vacuum leak. For the slow throttle check the bottom of this page and look at the pics. Its self explanatory.

Forget about the little one at the bottom. Its the 2 above it that are of concern to you.

Ok a dumb question. I didn't pay close enough attention when I took the throttle cable off. There are two places that the throttle cable can hook up to. Does it go on the out side or inside or does it matter.

Outside. Inner quadrant is for the cruise control.

Thanks
New problem
It now revs up to 5k and stays there. What should I look at, what could cause this.
I have already check out all the cables and they aren't bound up. I checked the vacuum lines and I think they are all good.

Figured it out.
My secondarys were stuck open and I didn't notice it until I looked down in the carb. I pushed them closed and it now runs good not great but good. I still need to do some fine adjusting.
It has been almost a year since she last ran and does it feel good.
