Wit's end.

So I am working on an 84 GSL-SE converted to a 48 Weber.

I'm cranking on the ignition the other day and all of the sudden I lost ALL power.

I checked volts and load tested battery... Good

I checked main and all other fuses... Good

I believe it is a fusible link (crap)

the problem is, I cant find the darn thing to check it!

HELP!!

There are 3 links under the hood on the drivers side right by the tower. Do yourself a flavor and replace them with newer style links, they plug right in!

Drivers side strut tower.

Rip them out and replace them with 2 30's and a 60 Bus fuse.

I have both a fusible link (albeit for a '83 12a) and a 2nd Gen fuseblock for sale in the 1st gen For Sale section.
I'd love to get rid of them....pm me if you're interested.

Pat

No, on the drivers side strut tower there is a box that has what looks like some cloth covered wires sticking in it. Those cloth covered wires are the links.
