Wiring ECU ignition control
I got a Holley Sniper EFI kit and want the ECU to control ignition timing. I think I have it right, but I wanted to see if someone could check my work before I blow something up.

the stock setup has no computer, but if it did you would have 2 outputs from the computer, one for leading and one for trailing. your thing probably won't be able to do that

I would be shocked if the Sniper can do leading and trailing ignition. A few years ago, I had a good relationship with Holley, and they were sponsoring us with parts for my race car. They were fully prepared to give us $10K+ of parts to run their top of the line Dominator ECU, but they didn’t have the capability to do leading and trailing spark. I had contacts all the way to the director of engineering at Holley and they were not interested in adding the capability, even though I believe that for an ECU coder it would have been a trivial amount of work. they are very happy with their drag race and hot rod customer base and not interested in branching out into the wonderful weird world of rotaries.
My plan was to run an FC crank angle sensor instead of the distributor, and use LS coils, this system worked fabulously with my MS3Pro that I ended up using. I think you need to keep all the 12A ignition system intact and just run the tach signal wire to the Sniper

there isn't any real need to run a timing split, you can just run them all together, but you still need the distributor to put the trailing spark to the correct rotor
