Is it possible to use the stock ecu to run the ignition.... cas, coils ect... you know for the spark only? or is there something that will prevent me from doing this?

stock ecu will run the ignition fine on a series 4 car. I did this and ran a Dellorto carb for years. You just have to hook up / make a bracket for the TPS and adjust it properly.
