Actually, I beat you to it. Only, instead of donuts, I was up in my Subie getting stuck on a friggin MOUNTAIN (yes, I tried going up a very very steep logging road with 6 inches of snow on it, with BALD summer tires on my car).

I did do some donuts in a little valley thing though... RWD (right wheel drive) or LWD is weird with donuts, though. Especially when the inside tires don't get traction (my Subaru has two open diffs, one in front and one in the rear, and a center VLSD).

Nmeh, when I get my 7, I'll post some burnout vids.

chi san: AWD donuts are somewhat different than the usual rwd donuts, or FWD "nosenuts" as i call them. my buddies van is always fun to play with for that reason (awd previe, "the egg") but still.. donuts in a soobie dont count here

as for burnout vids: ive seen two on the net were they end with a large "pow" and the hood blows open... WTF is that? the girlfriend (and owner) wont let me do a burnout until i can prove that "pow" wont happen to her car.

AWD with a lsd center and rear is where the fun is at!

the POW is retarded-powerful-super-high-rev cars ruining their clutch, that is almost impossible to do ona stock car so I wouldnt' worry about it too much.

feel free to join us in the canadian forum as well, eh?

That is true. Though, my donuts left similar marks to the pics posted above, albiet with the front wheels leaving their marks as well.

FWD does a donut if you put it in reverse and turn the wheel while flooring it.

Well, if you're concerned about damaging your car, then when you do burnouts, don't bounce on the rev limiter. If you get close to it, let off the gas a little, adjust the throttle until your rpm is staying constant. When I have fun in my car, that's usually what I do.
